Twelve years ago, Calvary inherited the former Fort Lauderdale Christian School campus—a once-thriving property with deep roots in Christian education. Today, a renewed vision is coming to life on this site as Calvary steps forward in faith to reimagine the West Campus as a dual-purpose ministry center for both Calvary Christian Academy’s youngest students and the growing Calvary Español congregation.
This new plan answers two long-standing needs: a purpose-built environment for elementary education, and a permanent home for a vibrant, Spanish-speaking church community.
This vision includes:
- A permanent campus for Calvary Español, designed to meet both ministry and community needs
- A new 80,000 sq. ft. academic facility designed for K3–3rd grade students, offering:
Thoughtfully designed classrooms tailored for early learners- Age-appropriate common areas and creative spaces
- A theater, cafeteria, and ball fields to enrich school life
- Purposeful site development to support dual use for both church and school functions
With architects, designers, and engineers crafting a space from the ground up, this project reflects a deep commitment to creating an excellent educational experience for young children while also expanding the reach of the gospel to Spanish-speaking families. Together, CCA K3–3rd grade and Calvary Español will anchor a new season of ministry at the West Campus—one that blends discipleship, education, and community in powerful and lasting ways.
