Fort Lauderdale campusthe union building (cya & youth)

As young adults continue to find meaningful connections and purpose within Calvary’s growing ministry, the need for a dedicated space has become increasingly clear. The 6290 building, located on the west side of the Fort Lauderdale campus, is being reimagined as a vibrant home for young adults to gather, grow in community, and step into their calling.

Once known as Ramp 48, this building is undergoing a full renovation to create a modern ministry hub designed specifically for young adults and emerging leaders. Scheduled to launch in October, this space will serve as a cornerstone for discipleship, leadership development, and spiritual formation.

This vision includes:

  • A fully renovated ministry space dedicated to Calvary’s young adult community
  • Flexible environments for large-group worship, small groups, and leadership gatherings
  • Comfortable common areas that invite connection, conversation, and collaboration
  • Multi-use functionality to serve Calvary Christian Academy programs and special events

As part of Calvary’s mission to raise the next generation, the 6290 space affirms the value and calling of young adults in the life of the church—and provides the space they need to thrive.

Fort Lauderdale west campusyouth building addition

For nearly 25 years, the youth building at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale has served thousands of students as a place to grow in faith, build community, and encounter Jesus. Now, a new vision is taking shape—a bold step toward creating purpose-built environments that will equip the next generation for decades of ministry impact.

At the heart of this plan is a complete transformation of the middle and high school youth building, originally constructed when the campus first opened. This revitalization will provide dynamic, flexible, and welcoming spaces tailored to the unique needs of today’s students and tomorrow’s leaders.

This vision includes:

  • A full redesign of the youth ministry building, creating distinct environments for middle and high school students
  • Modernized gathering spaces that foster worship, discipleship, and deep community
  • Technology and design enhancements to support large events, small groups, and midweek gatherings
  • A renewed emphasis on connection, safety, and accessibility throughout the space

With more than 1,500 students participating in youth activities in just a few days during recent events, this investment reflects Calvary’s long-term commitment to discipling the next generation and stewarding the incredible growth God is bringing.

Fort Lauderdale west campusk-3rd grade cca & calvary EspaÑol

Twelve years ago, Calvary inherited the former Fort Lauderdale Christian School campus—a once-thriving property with deep roots in Christian education. Today, a renewed vision is coming to life on this site as Calvary steps forward in faith to reimagine the West Campus as a dual-purpose ministry center for both Calvary Christian Academy’s youngest students and the growing Calvary Español congregation.

This new plan answers two long-standing needs: a purpose-built environment for early childhood education, and a permanent home for a vibrant, Spanish-speaking church community.

This vision includes:

  • A permanent campus for Calvary Español, designed to meet both ministry and community needs
  • A new 80,000 sq. ft. academic facility designed for K3–3rd grade students, offering:
Thoughtfully designed classrooms tailored for early learners
    • Age-appropriate common areas and creative spaces
    • A theater, cafeteria, and ball fields to enrich school life
  • Purposeful site development to support dual use for both church and school functions

With architects, designers, and engineers crafting a space from the ground up, this project reflects a deep commitment to creating an excellent educational experience for young children while also expanding the reach of the gospel to Spanish-speaking families.

Together, CCA K3–3rd grade and Calvary Español will anchor a new season of ministry at the West Campus—one that blends discipleship, education, and community in powerful and lasting ways.

Plantation Campus Master Plan

A bold master plan is unfolding at the Plantation campus—one designed to meet urgent space needs and lay a strong foundation for ministry growth in the decades ahead. This plan offers more than just practical upgrades—it’s a long-term investment in gospel-centered ministry, family discipleship, and meaningful community life.

Currently, the campus is constrained by limited areas for fellowship, children’s, and youth ministry. The new plan addresses these challenges with a complete redevelopment, including the demolition of the existing youth building and modular classrooms. In their place, 47,000 sq. ft. of new construction will be seamlessly connected to the sanctuary building—creating an integrated environment for worship, learning, and community.

This vision includes:

  • Dedicated middle and high school ministry areas, designed with students in mind
  • A large-group assembly space for children’s ministry to gather, grow, and encounter Jesus
  • A spacious café and multiple meeting rooms to foster connection and hospitality
  • Expansive fellowship space adjacent to the sanctuary, encouraging community before and after services
  • A Calvary Christian Academy preschool, creating new opportunities for early childhood education
  • New traffic flow and parking infrastructure to support a growing congregation

Boca Master Plan

The Boca campus is entering an exciting new season with a vision to continue to serve its growing church and create space for future generations to flourish.

This plan replaces aging modular buildings and support structures with purpose-built environments for worship, learning, and connection. At the center is a new 21,000 sq. ft. church and school building on the west side of the campus, replacing temporary structures and creating a permanent foundation for ministry.

This vision includes:

  • A completely remodeled lobby to support greater fellowship and connection
  • Two inviting courtyards that encourage community gathering
  • A new café to enhance hospitality and shared moments
  • 10,000 sq. ft. of additional space devoted to youth ministry and chapel gatherings
  • Upgraded parking and outdoor fellowship areas to better serve weekend and weekday traffic

In addition, the campus will welcome a Calvary Christian Academy PreK–5th grade school, with the capacity to serve 360 students. This new academic space reflects a long-term commitment to discipling young hearts and minds through Christian education rooted in truth and excellence.

Boynton Beach Campus – Youth & Cafe Addition

Space limitations have made it difficult for youth ministry to grow and thrive. Middle and high school students currently meet in a small room adjacent to the Calvary Christian Academy preschool, limiting both their sense of identity and the potential for expansion.

A new plan addresses this challenge by enclosing the open-air courtyard and relocating the existing café. This creates approximately 1,800 sq. ft. of dedicated space for student ministry, giving middle and high schoolers a place to gather, grow, and call their own. The surrounding backyard area will also be activated for youth events and young adult gatherings—providing room to build deeper community and reach more of the next generation.

North Lauderdale faces similar challenges when it comes to youth ministry space. The current layout limits the opportunity for dedicated student environments. Efforts are underway to explore options for upgrading and expanding youth spaces, providing students with places that support community, learning, and worship.

west boca campus

West Boca’s campus features a generous backyard but lacks a suitable space for youth and young adult gatherings. The vision for this campus includes the creation of a new outdoor gathering space, specifically designed to host student events and church-wide fellowship opportunities. This project is part of a long-term plan to grow the West Boca campus and create meaningful spaces for the next generation.

parkland & PEMBROKE PINES campusES

Both the Parkland and Pembroke Pines campuses are experiencing dynamic growth and deep community engagement. Parkland continues to see consistent attendance increases, but space and parking limitations are beginning to constrain its potential impact. Similarly, the Pembroke Pines campus is marked by a vibrant, relational ministry culture, yet its current facility is limiting long-term growth and reach.

To meet the needs of these thriving communities, the long-term vision for both campuses includes securing more permanent, spacious locations. These future homes will empower each campus to expand its ministry capacity, better serve local families, and foster deeper community connections—ensuring sustained growth and gospel impact in their respective regions.

Parkland continues to experience consistent growth. However, space and parking limitations are beginning to restrict the ministry’s reach and impact. As part of its long-term vision, there is an active effort to identify and secure a permanent location—one that will enable the campus to continue growing and serving families in the surrounding community.

calvary house

Calvary House began in 1990 with a burden to help those battling addiction. What started in a double-wide trailer with just three men has grown into a seven-building campus that now houses 40 men and 12 women, offering a year-long, gospel-centered residential recovery program at no cost.

In a region where most recovery centers charge up to $1,000 per day for short-term care, Calvary House remains one of the only free, year-long, church-run programs of its kind in the country. The impact has been profound: over 1,100 graduates and more than 1,800 recorded salvations—each representing a story of redemption, not just recovery.

The vision moving forward is to expand capacity so more men and women can step into healing and purpose. By creating additional space and support, this ministry can continue to serve as a transformative resource for those who need it most.
