Fort Lauderdale campus – the union building (cya & youth)
This project is well underway with the west side of the space already completed (see pictures attached)! The design for the east side of the space is completed and we’re in the process of bringing this from concept to completion.
This space should be fully operational within the next two to three months serving a wide array of ministries including CYA, Outreach, CCA, and Youth.
Fort Lauderdale west campus – youth building addition
We’ve identified the most critical needs for our youth building, which includes:
- A lift for ADA access for the second floor (678)
- Additional bathrooms to support the backyard
- An interior redesign
- An entrance to the backyard from the west parking lot
- Additional covered walkways and canopies
We’re also in the process of working with an architect to refine the plans and we’ll have renderings within the next few weeks!

BIG NEWS!
We obtained official Fort Lauderdale site plan approval for the 80,000 sq. ft. building last week. We also hit the 75% construction document benchmark with the goal of submitting for permitting by December of 2025.
New renderings are now available!
Plantation Campus Master Plan
Construction is underway in Plantation with much more to come! A cafe redesign and the addition of two children’s rooms have been completed. A sanctuary refresh is next with new seats and flooring to be added this summer.
A two-phase campus master plan will follow, which includes almost 50,000 sq. ft. of new construction. We’re hoping to complete the site plan process by January.
We have a city meeting scheduled for Tuesday, September 30, so please pray!
UPDATE: The city meeting was a success! The Plantation DRC commission approved Calvary’s plan (pending a few final details), allowing us to proceed to the Plantation City Commission for final approval of the site plan.
Boca Master Plan
Similar to Plantation, Boca’s two-phase 43,000 sq. ft. master plan is in the site plan approval process with the City of Boca Raton. We’re working hand in hand with a team of architects and civil engineers to finalize the design. The next major date is October 22, which is when we’ll present our plans to the Boca Community Appearance Board (CAB) for approval. So, please pray for favor for that meeting!
We’ve also tweaked the design and renderings, which we’ll upload soon!
Boynton Beach Campus – Youth & Cafe Addition
We received great news from our civil engineering team in concert with the City of Boynton Beach: We can go right to permit and avoid the site plan approval process, which will save us at least six to nine months of time!
We’re tweaking the plans with the goal of submitting for permitting by January. We’ll keep you posted!
north lauderdale campus
This project includes the addition of a new 250 sq. ft. youth roof and the relocation of the sound booth to make this possible. What’s great is this project is underway and close to completion!
Additional upgrades include:
- A new front door experience
- New flooring and baseboards
- New ceilings, doors, and lighting fixtures
We’re also looking at additional opportunities for the campus!

The backyard is a focus of phase one! We have a long-term plan to expand the sanctuary and youth space, but phase one will focus on supporting the after-school program and youth group by improving space in the backyard.

Renderings are forthcoming soon!
downtown campus
Plans are in process as we continue to identify the ministry needs of the campus. Several structural tests have been completed with great results—the campus and buildings are in good shape! We also have good information from the city and our civil engineering team on what can be accomplished on the site.
More to come!
